Dubai, UAE: Huawei has unveiled its latest wearable, the HUAWEI Band 11 Series, introducing a new generation of fitness bands designed to support everyday health monitoring and fitness tracking.

The newly launched band combines a lightweight, minimalist design with a range of smart health features aimed at helping users maintain a balanced and active lifestyle. The device is available in Green, Black, and Blue, offering a youthful and sporty aesthetic suited to daily wear.

Larger display and improved design

A key highlight of the Band 11 Series is its 1.62-inch display, which Huawei says provides 27 percent more screen area compared with the previous model. The HUAWEI Band 11 Pro version includes a micro-curved screen with a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, significantly brighter than its predecessor, allowing clearer visibility even in strong sunlight.

Huawei has also introduced a redesigned interface. The new Hex Grid Launcher arranges icons in an orbital-style layout with vertical scrolling, allowing quicker navigation through apps and features. Frequently used shortcuts are displayed directly on the home screen.

The Band 11 Pro maintains a slim profile, measuring 8.99 mm thick and weighing 18 grams. It features an aluminium alloy body, designed to offer durability while maintaining a lightweight feel for everyday use.

Enhanced workout tracking

The Band 11 Pro is equipped with an independent GNSS positioning system, enabling more accurate route tracking during outdoor workouts such as running and cycling. The device can record and map activity routes while maintaining a compact design suitable for sports use.

Huawei has also added wrist-based running posture monitoring. Using an internal sensor, the band measures key metrics including ground contact time, vertical oscillation, and left-right balance, providing data that can help runners improve technique and reduce the risk of injury.

The band is designed to withstand intense workouts, with a construction that resists sweat during prolonged activity.

The series also introduces a Wheelchair Mode, which uses tailored algorithms to better measure activity for wheelchair users. Instead of traditional step-based metrics, the feature calculates energy consumption based on wheelchair movement patterns.

Across the Band 11 Series, users can access Huawei’s scientific training system, which includes AI-driven running plans, fatigue monitoring, recovery heart rate tracking, performance prediction, and training analysis.

Expanded health monitoring

Huawei has expanded the band’s health management features to include monitoring for sleep quality, cardiovascular indicators, and emotional well-being.

The new Nap Recap function provides summaries and analysis of daytime naps, complementing overnight sleep tracking. During sleep, the device measures indicators such as heart rate variability (HRV), heart rate, and blood oxygen levels (SpO₂) and offers insights aimed at improving sleep quality.

The band also includes Sleep Breathing Awareness, which detects potential breathing irregularities during rest.

Emotional health tracking has also been enhanced. By combining stress and physiological data, the band categorizes mood into 12 emotional states, giving users a more detailed understanding of daily emotional changes.

For women’s health, the Cycle Calendar feature tracks menstrual cycles through a calendar interface and provides reminders based on previous data.

Additional smart features

Beyond health tracking, the Band 11 Series includes several built-in tools designed for everyday convenience, such as Calendar, Compass, and Calculator applications.

Huawei has also introduced a Remote Shutter function, allowing users to control their smartphone camera via Bluetooth. The feature works with Huawei, Android, and iOS devices, enabling hands-free photo capture.

With the launch of the Band 11 Series, Huawei continues to expand its wearable technology portfolio, placing greater emphasis on accessible health monitoring and fitness support for a broad range of users.
