Indian Embassy in KSA Teams Up with VFS Global for Passport Renewals

Riyadh, KSA – In a collaborative effort aimed at streamlining passport renewal and document attestation procedures for Indian citizens residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the Embassy/Consulate of India in KSA has joined forces with VFS Global, a global leader in visa outsourcing and technology services for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide.

These consular camps have been organized to cater to the needs of Indian communities residing in the remote areas of the central, eastern, and western regions of Saudi Arabia. The initiative, which has been ongoing since 2009, aims to alleviate the hassles faced by Indian nationals when renewing their passports or attesting documents.

Western Region Coverage:
In the western region of KSA, the Consular Camps will be held in various cities, including Bisha, Jizan, Medina, Yanbu, Taif, Mecca, and Najran.

Central & Eastern Region Coverage:
In the central and eastern regions, the consular tours will cover Sakaka, Arar, Hafr Al Batin, Khafji, Hofuf, Al Quryat, and Wadi Dawasir.

Tour Dates:
The Consular Camps for passport renewal and Document Attestations will take place from September to December 2023.

Application Process:
Indian nationals can avail these services by following these steps:

1. Select the required service: passport renewal or document attestation.
2. Complete the online passport application form on the Govt. of India website based on the service needed and the respective region. Print and sign the hard copy of the form.
3. Create a profile on the VFS Global website and generate the appointment confirmation letter.
4. Book an appointment for the consular camp location online.
5. Arrive at the designated consular camp at the specified time, carrying the printed form, supporting documents, and appointment confirmation email.
6. VFS Global will review the application and accept the necessary documents at the Consular camp itself. Applicants will receive application process notifications via email or SMS if opted.
