VFS Global Wins Swedish Visa Services

Stockholm, Sweden – The Swedish Ministry of Justice has officially awarded VFS Global, a leading provider of visa services, the global tender to continue providing visa services in 37 countries worldwide. This comprehensive agreement encompasses a variety of regions and services, solidifying VFS Global’s role in facilitating visa processes for the Government of Sweden.

VFS Global has been a trusted partner of the Swedish government since 2014 and will now extend its services to cover short-term Schengen visa applications, including biometric enrollment, in a diverse array of countries spanning South Asia, the Americas, South East Asia, China, the Middle East & North Africa, Africa, Europe, and Russia.

The 37 countries included in this prestigious agreement are Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lebanon, Mongolia, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Nigeria, Palestine, Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, USA, Vietnam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.

Over the past four years, VFS Global has demonstrated its commitment to efficiency and professionalism in handling visa applications on behalf of the Government of Sweden, processing nearly 500,000 visa applications since 2019.

The Swedish Ministry of Justice and the Swedish Migration Agency expressed their satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “We are looking forward to a continued smooth and professional Schengen visa cooperation with VFS Global, for many years to come. Quality promotion measures, regionalization, and technical development are some areas where we are working on jointly. We continue our fruitful coordination and cooperation with VFS Global and strive to improve the process even further.”
