News DeskAjman, UAE – The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) is gearing up for the fourth edition of the Ajman Duathlon, a sports event dedicated to promoting fitness and community engagement. Scheduled for October 1, 2023, at Al Safia Park, Ajman, this exciting event, organized by Endurance Sports Services, combines running and cycling, offering various distance options to cater to participants of all ages and fitness levels.
The event features categories such as Long Distance, Sprint Distance, Super Sprint, and Junior Super Sprint, enabling participants to choose the one that aligns with their fitness goals. Registration is open until September 29th, 2023.
Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, commended the organizing teams and stressed the significance of such sporting events in promoting social cohesion. He reiterated ADTD’s commitment to elevating Ajman as a prominent tourist destination through a dynamic calendar of events.
The Ajman Duathlon has made a substantial impact on the emirate, contributing to its growth in the tourism and hospitality sectors. The event has garnered support from several partners, including Saudi German Hospital, Gulfa Water, Ajman Police, Ajman Municipality & Planning Department, Infinity Fitness Club, CYKL Garage Zayed Knights team, and Sharjah Triathlon.
