Dubai Police Conclude Collaborative Event Security Training

Dubai, UAE – Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of the General Department of Traffic, Dubai, oversaw the successful conclusion of the specialized “Event Security” training program. This collaborative effort between Dubai Police and British experts drew to a close at a ceremony attended by esteemed officials.

Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jamal, Acting Director of the Dubai Police Academy; Brigadier Ahmed Bin Mardas, Deputy Director of the General Department of Training; and Brigadier Misbah Saeed Al Ghafli, Deputy Director of the General Department for Organizational Protective Security and Emergency Affairs graced the closing ceremony. Distinguished leaders from the Abu Dhabi Police, Dubai’s General Directorate of Civil Defense, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), and the Dubai Health Authority also participated.

Major General Al Mazroui underscored the training’s vital role in fostering coordination and knowledge exchange among all stakeholders involved in various events. He emphasized that such collaborations are instrumental in ensuring the effective organization and management of events at the highest standards, aligning with global best practices.

Highlighting Dubai’s status as a global hub for hosting major international events, Al Mazroui stressed the necessity for unified efforts to maintain peak readiness levels among all event teams.

The course’s primary objective was to boost the efficiency and capabilities of security personnel and partners from diverse sectors engaged in event security. It aimed to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address challenges effectively, thereby guaranteeing the fulfillment of security and safety requirements at event venues.
