Dubai, UAE – The Dubai Police have marked another milestone in their commitment to enhancing security with the successful graduation of the second foundational course on ambushes and raids for the year 2023. The intensive 5-week training program, which concluded recently, equipped 12 participants with crucial skills in raiding essentials, ranging from building attacks to tactical shooting, rope descents, and physical fitness.
The diverse group of graduates included seven males and five females, underlining Dubai Police’s dedication to gender diversity in its ranks. Major General Rashid Khalifa Al Falasi, Acting Director of the General Department of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency, emphasized the significance of such courses in fortifying security measures. He stressed that this initiative aligns with the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, who has consistently emphasized the importance of upskilling the police force.
Major General Al Falasi also commended the strengthened partnership between Dubai Police and the Special Guard Group 92, who played a pivotal role in organizing the course at the Wadi Al Shabak Electronic Fields Camp. He expressed his gratitude to the Special Guard Group 92, course instructors, and participants, encouraging them to apply their newly acquired skills diligently in their professional duties.
The event witnessed the presence of several key attendees, including Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Musafri, Commander of Special Guard Group 92; Colonel Tareq Khamis Faraj, Acting Director of Organisations Protective Security and Emergency; Colonel Abdullah bin Shaiban, Director of Police Operations Training; Colonel Mohammed Humaid bin Samit, Director of Electronic Fields in the Northern Region; and Major Ayoub Al Musharkh, General Supervisor of the course.
