The signing of the ‘Climate-Responsible Companies Pledge’ marks a crucial milestone in Al Masaood’s ongoing sustainability journey. It underscores the company’s unwavering determination to combat climate change and reduce its carbon footprint. As part of this commitment, Al Masaood will measure and report its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while formulating ambitious strategies to align with national sector-specific climate targets. Furthermore, the company will actively collaborate with stakeholders, including suppliers, partners, and consumers, to encourage their participation in climate action, working towards the ambitious goal of achieving a net-zero United Arab Emirates by 2050.

Notably, the company is committed to developing inclusive approaches that involve women, youth, and vulnerable population segments in the creation of its net-zero plans.
