Huawei Unveils Net Zero Intelligent Campus White Paper at GITEX 2023

Dubai, UAE – Huawei, a global technology leader, unveiled its “Future Net Zero Intelligent Campus White Paper” for the Middle East and Central Asia at the prestigious GITEX GLOBAL 2023 event. The white paper showcases Huawei’s innovative ideas, solutions, and practical insights into creating intelligent campuses and offers a comprehensive guide for the entire lifecycle of such campuses.

The unveiling took place at GITEX GLOBAL 2023, the world’s largest technology event, with David Shi, President of the Enterprise Business Group for the Middle East & Central Asia region at Huawei, and Li Ying, Vice President of Huawei Enterprise Marketing & Solutions Sales, doing the honors.

The white paper defines the development trajectory of intelligent campuses, outlines their features, and presents a framework for net zero intelligent campuses. It also explores how these campuses can accelerate high-speed economic development, promote a zero-carbon strategy, and contribute to creating an interconnected, intelligent world.

The Middle East and Central Asia region, known for its commitment to sustainable smart cities and green initiatives, has made significant strides in digital, intelligent, and low-carbon development. Huawei aims to further invest in making campuses safer, more convenient, and eco-friendly by collaborating with governments and enterprises in the region.

David Shi, President of the Enterprise Business Group at Huawei Middle East & Central Asia, emphasized the company’s commitment to an intelligent future powered by the latest digital technologies and experiences, stating, “We have released this white paper to describe the net zero intelligent campus journey, and we’re working with our partners to define an intelligent future.”

Intelligent campuses are recognized as pivotal in high-speed economic development and essential for realizing zero-carbon strategies and fostering an interconnected intelligent world. Huawei collaborates with customers, partners, and consulting firms to share their experiences in constructing and operating intelligent campuses, facilitating the transition towards smart and low-carbon campuses.

Having already served over 800 customers, including government, office, stadium, and university campuses, Huawei is poised to address the trillion-dollar campus market by offering competitive solutions and leveraging its global expertise and technology.
