Dubai, UAE – In commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Mahzooz, a philanthropy-driven draw in the UAE, hosted a workshop in Dubai on October 28, 2023. The event focused on raising awareness about the environmental and health impact of conventional skincare and cosmetics. Employees from various departments collaborated to create eco-friendly skincare packs using natural and organic ingredients. The goal was to reduce the environmental footprint of cosmetic products and promote healthier alternatives for items like deodorants, scrubs, lip balms, and soaps.

Suzan Kazzi, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications at EWINGS (the operator of Mahzooz), emphasized the link between synthetic ingredients in cosmetics and health concerns, including breast cancer. She highlighted the significance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October as the perfect time to advocate for chemical-free skincare products and to underscore the environmental consequences of daily choices.

This initiative aligns with Mahzooz’s mission to positively impact people’s lives by empowering women with healthier, more sustainable self-care options.
