Dubai Police Achieves ‘Healthy Place to Work’ Milestone

Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first police force globally and across the Arab world to be awarded the “Healthy Place to Work” accreditation by the esteemed Healthy Place To Work® organization. The recognition follows the successful fulfillment of rigorous requirements aimed at fostering a workplace that prioritizes the mental and physical health of employees, along with promoting productivity, equity, and organizational effectiveness.

In a ceremony attended by prominent officials, including His Excellency Major General Dr Abdul Quddus Abdul Razzaq Al Obaidly, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Quality and Excellence, and other key figures such as Major General Ahmad Rafie and Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, the accreditation was officially received. The ceremony also saw the presence of Colonel Abduladheem Kamkar, Director of the R4 Centre for Rehabilitation and Readiness Enhancement of Dubai Police, emphasizing the collective commitment of the force to maintain exacting health and safety standards.

Major General Al Obaidly reiterated the Dubai Police’s commitment, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to provide a healthy, productive, and joyful workplace for all personnel, ensuring their overall satisfaction and happiness.

Brigadier Dr Ahmad Yousef Al Mansouri expressed that winning this prestigious award reflects Dubai Police’s dedication to creating an optimal work environment that motivates personnel to serve their country and community effectively. He emphasized the significance of applying global standards and best practices to enhance institutional performance and achieve job excellence.

Highlighting the outstanding performance of Dubai Police, Brigadier Al Mansouri revealed that the organization scored an impressive 91% on the assessment survey, surpassing other applicants.

Colonel Abduladheem Kamkar, in emphasizing the significance of the certificate, stated that it signifies Dubai Police’s unwavering commitment to achieving the highest health and safety standards for all personnel and their families. He acknowledged the efforts of various departments, including the R4 Centre, the General Department of Human Resources, and others, in making the work environment a healthy and safe place.

Colonel Kamkar explained that the “Healthy Place to Work” accreditation follows global standards, assessing institutions based on four key criteria: objective, communication, mental flexibility, and physical health. Institutions that meet these standards with a serious commitment to enhancing and maintaining a healthy work environment are bestowed with this prestigious certificate.
