Introduction of “The Hatta Braves Squad”
Colonel Abdullah Al Hefeiti, Deputy Director of Hatta Police Station, announced the establishment of “The Hatta Braves Squad,” a specialized unit dedicated to tourist security. This initiative aligns with the directives of Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, and the oversight of Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs.
The squad, adept at managing emergencies and mountainous rescues, is equipped with modern tools and technologies to handle incidents effectively. It also plays a crucial role in monitoring security and safety protocols in tourist areas, providing information about Dubai Police services to tourists and visitors.
In addition to the squad, Dubai Police has implemented a Smart Police Station (SPS) in the Hatta region. This SPS offers seamless and efficient services to the public, incorporating advanced technologies to streamline processes and improve accessibility without direct human intervention.
