VFS Global renews Visa and Residence Permit services contract for Norway globally

Dubai, UAE – VFS Global has been awarded the global tender by the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to provide visa and residence permit services in 52 countries worldwide. The agreement covers regions such as the Americas, Australasia, China & Hong Kong, Europe & CIS, Middle East & North Africa, Russia, Belarus & Armenia, and South Asia. Having collaborated with the Government of Norway since 2014, VFS Global has successfully processed nearly 1.5 million applications. The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed satisfaction with the effective and fruitful cooperation, emphasizing the smooth and professional handling of visa and residence permit services.

Chris Dix, Head of Business Development at VFS Global, expressed delight in continuing to serve as the sole service provider for the Government of Norway. He highlighted the strong partnership and the company’s commitment to delivering top-quality services globally. This achievement follows VFS Global’s recent exclusive appointment to manage the UK Government visa and passport services across 142 countries, serving approximately 3.8 million applicants annually. Additionally, the company has secured a global biometric collection service mandate with Australia and renewed the global visa service contract with Sweden. The Norwegian contract win marks the eighth global success for VFS Global in the current year.
