Dubai Police’s “On-the-Go” Initiative Celebrates Remarkable Success

Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police’s “On-the-Go” initiative has celebrated significant success, benefiting 991 individuals this year. The collaborative effort between Dubai Police and major fuel supply companies, including ENOC, ADNOC, and Emarat, operates across 138 service stations in the Emirate. The initiative has achieved a remarkable 94.3% customer satisfaction rate, returning 803 lost items to their owners.

At a press conference attended by dignitaries, officers, and journalists, Major General Dr. Adel Al Suwaidi highlighted key achievements since the initiative’s inception in 2015. Notable milestones include the issuance of 733 minor traffic accident reports, 258 hit-and-run reports, and the repair of 187 vehicles. Training on the initiative’s services has been provided to 4,867 trainees from 11 different entities.

Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri emphasized the streamlined processes of “On-the-Go,” reducing the need for police station visits for minor accidents. The initiative promotes 25 Dubai Police initiatives and services through more than 24,000 screens across different stations, contributing to the expansion of Dubai Police’s partnership network to 50 partners with a 98% effectiveness rate and a 97.2% partner satisfaction rate.

First Lieutenant Majid bin Saad Al Kaabi reaffirmed that the collaboration aligns with government strategies to enhance community well-being. The initiative’s uniqueness lies in offering traffic services at fuel stations, a first of its kind globally.

Fuel supply company representatives expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, acknowledging its mutual benefits and contribution to public service enhancement. Beneficiaries reported a seamless experience, praising the convenience of reporting minor accidents at fuel stations and the prompt services provided by Dubai Police, underscoring the innovative and accessible nature of the initiative.
