Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police’s International Centre for Forensic Science (ICFS) recently hosted a delegation of female students from Zayed University. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the diverse scientific specializations within the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology, showcasing their crucial role in supporting police and security operations.
During the visit, Major Mohammed Ahmad Al Muhairi, Acting Director of ICFS, and Major Nawaf Ahmad Al Mansoori, Head of the Accreditation and Competencies Section, briefed the students on the department’s work, emphasizing its critical role in criminal investigations with solid scientific evidence.
The students were introduced to the latest technologies and gained insights into the tasks of various sub-departments and sections. They also learned about best practices, standards, and significant research contributing to knowledge in forensic evidence.
Particularly noteworthy was the students’ exploration of criminal psychology and profiling, directly relevant to their psychology majors. The students expressed gratitude to Dubai Police for supporting their educational journey.
