Ajman Half Marathon Energizes Community at Safia Park

Ajman, UAE – The Ajman Half Marathon, organized by the Ajman Department of Tourism Development in collaboration with Endurance Sports Service, successfully took place at Ajman Safia Park on December 31, 2023. Featuring 1,200 participants, the event marked a significant step towards promoting a culture of health and fitness in the Ajman community.

Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, the Director General of The Ajman Department of Tourism Development, expressed satisfaction with the event’s alignment with Ajman Vision 2030’s goals. Alhashmi emphasized the pivotal role of sports in fostering a healthy lifestyle and reiterated the department’s commitment to collaboration and showcasing the emirate’s unique tourist attractions.

The marathon included diverse race categories catering to various age groups. Winners competed for a total prize pool of AED 25,000, fostering a healthy spirit of competition and camaraderie. The event received support from sponsors, including Golden Sponsor Saudi German Hospital Ajman and Hydration Sponsor Gulfa, ensuring participant well-being. Additional support from Ajman Police GHQ, Ajman Municipality and Planning, Infinity Fitness Club, Zayed Knights Team, and Majed Studio Art Production contributed to the overall success of the marathon.

The Ajman Half Marathon not only showcased the city’s dedication to sports and well-being but also provided a platform for community engagement and unity, highlighting the Ajman Department of Tourism Development’s commitment to fostering a vibrant and healthy community.
