Dubai, UAE – The TALLENTEX Overseas, a flagship competitive exam by ALLEN, India’s largest talent-scholarship examination, has witnessed a substantial rise in popularity among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) youth. In the latest 2024 edition, more than 34,000 students from grades 5th to 11th participated, marking a significant increase from the 25,000 participants in the previous year.
This annual examination, held at six centers across the GCC, including the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain, provides scholarships totaling up to Dh 8.8 million and Dh 880,000 in cash prizes to outstanding achievers. Students competed in both online and offline formats, with 25,000 students taking the in-person exam at various centers in the region.
From the UAE, Johan Sony, Adheep Sooraj, Anshuman Rath, Madhav Manoj Vachali, and Dev Chintan Bhatt secured top honors. Meanwhile, Oman-based students Phani Sai Thaman Sankilisetty, Ronith Shibu, and Stuti Jitendra Prajapati emerged as class-wise achievers, securing GCC Rank 1 in the exam.
All top performers will be awarded cash prizes and scholarships for ALLEN Classroom courses in the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. Keshav Maheshwari, Managing Director of ALLEN Overseas, expressed enthusiasm over the surge in participation, emphasizing the exam’s role in recognizing and rewarding academic excellence among GCC students. He highlighted the positive response from students, citing the exam’s contribution to enhancing their performance and confidence for national and international competitive exams.
