Ajman Boosts Cultural and Sports Ties with Al-Ahly Sporting Club

Ajman, UAE – The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) took a proactive step towards fostering collaboration in sports and tourism by organizing a visit to the Egyptian Al-Ahly Sporting Club team during their training camp at the ZOYA Health & Wellbeing Resort in Ajman.

His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, welcomed the Al-Ahly team, emphasizing the significance of enhancing sports and cultural ties between the UAE and Egypt. Alhashmi pledged the department’s unwavering support for the success of the training camp, stating, “In Ajman, we are dedicated to fortifying sports and cultural ties with clubs.”

Mahmoud Al Khatib, Al Ahly SC president, praised Ajman’s exceptional infrastructure and optimal training conditions, expressing delight in choosing Ajman as their camp venue. He commended Ajman’s role in championing sports and attracting clubs for activities and events.

The visit highlights ADTD’s commitment to advancing cooperation in sports and tourism, showcasing readiness to host international sports clubs. This initiative contributes significantly to elevating Ajman’s status as a global sports destination.
