News DeskDubai, UAE – Dubai Police has augmented its fleet of Tourist Police patrols with the addition of the luxurious electric vehicle, the ‘Lotus Eletre R’. Donning the force’s signature green livery, the vehicle was unveiled in the presence of Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of Dubai Tourist Police, alongside Ramzi Al Atat, Regional Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at Lotus, and other senior officers.
Brig. Al Jallaf lauded the collaboration with Lotus, highlighting the vehicle’s impressive specifications including dual electric motors generating 905 horsepower. The Lotus Eletre R is hailed as the world’s fastest dual-motor electric SUV, boasting a range of up to 600 kilometers.
The partnership aims to enhance security presence in key tourist sites such as the Burj Khalifa and JBR, with the Lotus vehicle facilitating police officers in delivering various services to the public and tourists. Al Atat emphasized Lotus’ commitment to sustainability, aligning with Dubai Police’s vision for a better future through technological advancements.
The event concluded with Brig. Al Jallaf presenting Al Atat with a commemorative shield, symbolizing the strengthened collaboration between Dubai Police and Lotus in advancing security measures with environmentally friendly solutions.
