France visa services in Qatar now available through VFS Global

Doha, Qatar – VFS Global, in collaboration with the French embassy in Qatar, has unveiled a new France Visa Application Centre in Doha, Qatar, bringing visa services closer to residents. The inauguration ceremony took place on February 8, 2024, with Patrick Poinsot, First Counsellor at the French embassy in Qatar, officiating the event.

Located at Level 2, Al Nuaimi Building, Oqba Ibn Nafie Street, Airport Road, Doha, Qatar, the centre offers both short and long-stay visa application services for France.

Mr. Poinsot expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, emphasizing their commitment to providing excellent service to Qatari residents planning to visit France. He highlighted the increasing number of travelers to France, particularly for tourism, and affirmed their dedication, along with VFS Global, to streamline the visa application process.

Atul Marwah, Chief Operating Officer – Middle East & Egypt, VFS Global, shared his enthusiasm for the collaboration, citing VFS Global’s extensive experience in visa services and its longstanding relationship with France. He welcomed travelers from Qatar to the new centre, which promises enhanced convenience and efficiency.

The new centre prioritizes customer satisfaction, offering a spacious waiting area, advanced biometric facilities, and a dedicated space to provide essential information about traveling to France. Optional services include courier return service for processed passports and form-filling assistance.

For those seeking a premium experience, the centre also offers a Premium Lounge, providing personalized assistance in a luxurious setting. With its focus on comfort and efficiency, the France Visa Application Centre in Doha aims to simplify the visa application process for travelers from Qatar.
