Glamour and Glitz Return to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The 23rd edition of the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) is set to take place on May 26th and 27th, 2023, in Abu Dhabi, UAE, at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The event will be hosted by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, with NEXA returning as the title sponsor for the seventh consecutive year.

The event promises to be a glamorous celebration of Indian cinema, music, fashion, and culture. Ravi Menon, Co-chairman of Sobha Realty, expressed his delight at being the title sponsor, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and celebrating the allure of Indian cinema.

The IIFA Awards, known for honoring artistic excellence in the Indian film industry, aligns with Sobha Realty’s commitment to quality, art, and design. Maruti Suzuki’s NEXA, a core sponsor, aims to make this 23rd edition a seven-year high in global entertainment, reflecting its values of ‘inspire’ and ‘create.’

The event will feature a fashion segment curated by NEXA, showcasing the work of renowned designer Manish Malhotra, who will receive a special IIFA honor for Outstanding Achievement for Fashion in Cinema. Manish Malhotra has had a profound influence on Indian fashion and films for over three decades and continues to set trends with his designs.

The IIFA will be hosted by Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan and will include live performances by Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nora Fatehi, and Rakul Preet Singh. Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao will entertain as hosts, while renowned artists like Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Nuchelya, Mika, and Sukhbir Singh will electrify the stage with their performances.
