Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Henkel reaffirmed its commitment to innovation in the consumer and retail sector at the Retail Leaders Circle (RLC) MENA Summit in Riyadh. Bassel Elshaboury, Vice President Africa and Head of Marketing High Growth Region, Henkel Consumer Brands, participated in a panel discussion titled “The Future of Grocery.” Elshaboury highlighted the evolving nature of shoppers and the growing impact of Omnichannel, particularly on Gen Z and Gen Alpha consumers. He emphasized the crucial role of brands in shaping the digital retail landscape.

Joined by industry leaders, including representatives from Ocado Solutions, Al Raya Supermarkets, and LuLu Hypermarkets, the panel explored emerging trends and innovative solutions in grocery retail, aiming to enhance efficiency and deliver immersive, personalized shopping experiences.

The 10th edition of the RLC MENA Summit concluded under the theme ‘Fearless Innovation: Charting the Next Frontiers’, marking a significant milestone for the region’s retail sector. Henkel GCC showcased its diverse portfolio, focusing on well-known brands like Schwarzkopf, Palette, and Persil. With strategic investments in capabilities, sustainability, and digitalization, Henkel aims to strengthen its position as an innovative leader in the Middle East retail industry.
