Dubai, UAE – Keolis, a leading provider of shared mobility solutions, showcased its dedication to shaping a greener future for cities at the MENA Transport Congress and Exhibition (MTCE) held in Dubai from February 28th to March 1st, 2024. Organized by the RTA in collaboration with UITP, the event brought together over 2000 attendees, including industry experts, policymakers, and government officials from 22 countries, to discuss the future of sustainable urban mobility under the theme “Sustainable Mobility and Wellbeing.”

With 46 exhibitors representing 20 countries worldwide, the MTCE provided a comprehensive platform for discussions, keynote speeches, and panel sessions focusing on the latest advancements in sustainable transportation solutions. Keolis, as one of the exhibitors, actively engaged with attendees, emphasizing collaboration and innovation to drive progress towards a shared vision of sustainable mobility.

Alistair Gordon, CEO of Keolis UK, Middle East & India, took the stage on February 29th to present his session titled “Connecting Sustainable Urban Mobility and Quality of Life.” Gordon highlighted Keolis’ customer-focused approach and its commitment to improving citizens’ lives through innovative transportation solutions.

We’re laser-focused on harnessing cutting-edge technology, implementing effective policies, and embracing industry best practices to create a sustainable world.”

The Congress addressed key topics such as artificial intelligence, green transport, resilient infrastructure, and urban planning, with a focus on achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Keolis highlighted its role in supporting public transport authorities (PTAs) globally to create efficient transportation systems that promote the shift from private vehicles to public transport and active modes.

Gordon outlined Keolis’ approach to shaping the future of sustainable mobility through three key pillars:
