RAS AL KHAIMAH, UAE – The world’s only Bear Grylls Explorers Camp (BGEC) has announced a special summer staycation package, offering guests a last chance to experience its adventure-filled grounds before closing for the season.
The package, available until May 25th, invites guests to experience a wilderness overnight stay in one of BGEC’s 16 ensuite self-catering cabins. The cabins, available Monday through Sunday, offer a comfortable retreat with a Queen and single bed, accommodating up to three people. The package features weekday rates at AED 325 and weekend rates at AED 525 for a one-night stay.
In addition to cabin stays, guests can indulge in a BBQ for two at an additional cost of AED 150 and AED 75 for each additional person. The menu features a classic spread of Shish Tawook, beef kebabs, beef patties, tender corn on the cob, refreshing house salads, Arabic bread served with Hummus, and burger buns accompanied by cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Guests are required to make their BBQ reservations 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.
Enthusiastic guests can also choose from one of any four outdoor activities – including the high ropes course, hiking, archery, and air rifle shooting. BGEC ensures necessary safety equipment is available along with medical facilities on-site and 24-hour security.
Jais Adventure Park & 1484 by Puro Announce Summer Timings
Jais Adventure Park has adjusted timings for the summer season. Jais Flight, the world’s longest zipline, is open from now throughout summer. From May 1st onwards, Jais Flight will be available from 10am to 5pm, Wednesday through Sunday. Additionally, beginning June 15th, guests can enjoy Jais Sledder, the UAE’s longest mountain coaster during the same hours.
However, Jais Sky Tour, the region’s longest zipline tour consisting of six ziplines, is currently open but will not operate over the summer. The last bookable ride will be May 31st until it resumes later in the year.
1484 by Puro, the UAE’s highest restaurant at the top of Jebel Jais, welcomes guests on all days to experience its elevated dining experience. As of June 1st, the restaurant will be open from Tuesday to Sunday for the summer season.
