Dubai, UAE – The Retail Summit (TRS) 2024, in its fourth edition, is set to honour Ozwald Boateng OBE, Founder and CEO of Ozwald Boateng, with the prestigious Icon Award. This award recognises Boateng’s significant contributions to menswear fashion and the retail industry over his three-decade-long career.
Boateng, known for his unique design aesthetic that blends Savile Row tradition with international flair, intricate detail, and unmatched artistry, has left a lasting impact on the fashion industry worldwide. In recognition of his achievements, TRS will host an exclusive Icon Dinner on April 22nd at the award-winning rooftop restaurant CouCou at The View, the Palm.
In addition to the Icon Award, TRS 2024 will also feature the Women in Retail Reception on April 23rd at the Gastronomy Terrace, Atlantis, The Royal. This year’s panel includes three inspirational female leaders: Sima Ganwani Ved, Founder and Chairwoman of Apparel Group; Karen Millen OBE, Founder of Karen Millen; and Melissa Odabash MBE, Founder and Creative Director at Melissa Odabash. They will discuss the crucial topic of ‘Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Inspiring the Next Generation of Retail Talent’.
