Abu Dhabi Hosts Second Industrialists Career Exhibition with Dr. Sultan Al Jaber

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The second edition of the Industrialists Career Exhibition kicked off today in the esteemed presence of Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, alongside other dignitaries including Excellency Ghanam Butti Al Mazrouei and Excellency Omar Al Suwaidi. Hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) in collaboration with key partners, the event promises to be a pivotal platform for empowering Emirati talent and fostering economic prosperity.

Running from April 21st to April 23rd, the exhibition, held at Abu Dhabi, aims to bridge Emirati talent with quality employment and training opportunities in the private sector. Over 80 industrial, technological, and service companies are participating, offering more than 800 job openings tailored for Emiratis. Notably, the initiative also pioneers by creating 150 positions for people of determination, emphasizing inclusivity and diversity in the workforce.

At the heart of the event lies the promotion of the National In-Country Value (ICV) Program, designed to localize supply chains and enhance Emiratization. Aligning with national strategies such as Operation 300bn and the Make it in the Emiratis initiative, the exhibition underscores the pivotal role of the private sector and national talent in driving economic growth.

In his remarks, Omar Al Suwaidi underscored the ministry’s commitment to nurturing Emirati talent and providing avenues for their professional development. He emphasized the exhibition’s role as a catalyst for filling vacancies within local industrial companies, with a pledge to create over 1,000 new job opportunities by year-end.

Ghannam Al Mazrouei highlighted the significance of such exhibitions in showcasing career prospects in industrial and advanced technology sectors, lauding the success of previous editions in providing job and training opportunities for Emirati youth. He emphasized the crucial role of the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council (Nafis) in enabling Emiratis to develop skills in line with global standards.

Yaser Saeed Al Mazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director, reiterated ADNOC’s commitment to bolstering the national economy and empowering Emirati talent through initiatives like the In-Country Value Program. He stressed the importance of Emiratization in fostering sustainable employment opportunities and enhancing operational sustainability in the private sector.
