Machines Can See 2024: Dubai Summit

Dubai, UAE – The second annual Machines Can See Summit brought together over 4,500 leading researchers, innovators and professionals in artificial intelligence, machine learning and computer vision at Dubai’s iconic Museum of the Future.

The event, graced by UAE ministers Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Omar Sultan Al Olama, facilitated discussions on the latest breakthroughs, trends and real-world applications in generative AI, computer vision, AI investment and education.

Key speakers included Luc Julia (Renault Group), Andrew Jackson (Core42), Sergey Tulyakov (Snap), and experts from Google, NVIDIA, IBM, AWS, Meta and others. The summit featured scientific and business tracks, with renowned researchers unveiling groundbreaking work in areas like image generation, recognition, machine learning and robotics.

“This summit has rapidly become a premier global stage for exploring the latest AI breakthroughs reshaping industries and societies,” said Alexander Khanin, CEO of organizer Polynome Events FZE.

A dedicated segment explored the transformative potential of generative AI in creative fields. Panelists discussed the business impact of AI across industries, investment in AI startups, nurturing AI talent, and ethical AI development.

A highlight was the Generative Interior Design Challenge where teams leveraged generative models to reimagine spaces, with $15,000 in prizes awarded.

The summit was supported by leading firms like NVIDIA, Technology Innovation Institute, Core42, MBZUAI and others, reinforcing Dubai’s position as an international innovation hub.
