Abu Dhabi, UAE – Victor, a leading global on-demand private jet charter platform, announced today that it is relocating its headquarters from the UK to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The move follows Victor’s recent acquisition by an investment group in Abu Dhabi.
Founded in 2011, Victor has pioneered innovations in the private jet charter marketplace through its transparent global booking platform. By establishing its new headquarters in Abu Dhabi, Victor will become the first on-demand jet charter service headquartered in the emirate.
“Abu Dhabi’s strategic location, world-class infrastructure and supportive business environment make it the ideal base for expanding our operations and serving our customer base across the Middle East and North Africa region,” said James Farley, co-CEO of Victor.
The relocation positions Victor to take advantage of the UAE’s status as a growing global aviation hub. It will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, a robust regulatory framework, and key markets like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt and Turkey.
Aligned with the UAE’s goal of net zero emissions by 2050, Victor is committed to sustainability initiatives like its partnership with Neste to offer sustainable aviation fuel to customers. The company aims to drive adoption of sustainable fuel in the region.
Victor has assembled a UAE-based leadership team led by Simon D’Oyly, with over 20 years of regional experience. The company will maintain its European and U.S. offices in London and Washington D.C.
Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi of the Middle East & North Africa Business Aviation Association welcomed Victor’s move, saying it “reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination for business aviation.”
