Pakistan and Ju-Jitsu Asia Union Sign MoU to Promote Ju-Jitsu in Pakistan

Abu Dhabi, UAE – The Ju-Jitsu Asia Union (JJAU) and the Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation (PJJF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly promote the sport of ju-jitsu and sports education in Pakistan. The signing ceremony was held in Abu Dhabi and attended by prominent sports leaders, including JJAU President Abdul Munum Al Hashmi, JJAU Secretary General Fahad Al Shamsi, and others.

Under the agreement, the JJAU will support the development of ju-jitsu sports in Pakistan by providing basic infrastructure, training coaches, and enhancing the skills of referees. The union aims to improve the capacity of ju-jitsukas (ju-jitsu practitioners) and technical personnel who are members of the PJJF.

President Al Hashmi assured that the JJAU would work closely with Pakistan to promote and develop ju-jitsu sports and sports education in the country. Secretary General Al Shamsi highlighted Abu Dhabi’s status as a hub for ju-jitsu events and expressed happiness at the union’s collaboration with different Asian countries, especially Pakistan, to improve the sport.

PJJF Secretary General Tariq Ali hailed the agreement as extremely important, saying it would pave the way for the development of ju-jitsu sports in Pakistan and improve the capacity of every young PJJF member. He expressed gratitude to the JJAU for signing this first-of-its-kind MoU.

The authorities and sports circles in Pakistan have also welcomed the bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE, expressing satisfaction with the agreement.

With this MoU, Pakistan aims to further promote ju-jitsu as a sport and enhance the skills of its athletes, coaches, and referees through the support and expertise of the Ju-Jitsu Asia Union.
