Zayed University Celebrates the Graduation of the “Future Makers” Class of 2024

Abu Dhabi, UAE – Zayed University has marked the graduation of its “Future Makers” Class of 2024 in a grand ceremony held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) from June 4th to June 6th. Under the patronage of Lt. General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, the event celebrated the achievements of 2,086 students.

His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan graced the final day of the ceremony, congratulating 368 graduates from 7 colleges who earned honors and distinction. His Highness emphasized the graduates’ role in shaping a bright future for the UAE and commended their dedication and success at the prestigious national academic institution.

Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Development and Chairperson of Zayed University Board of Trustees, expressed her gratitude for His Highness’s presence, which she noted symbolizes the leadership’s support and pride in the graduates. She encouraged the graduates to continue their journey with passion and to view challenges as opportunities for growth.

The ceremony was also virtually addressed by His Excellency Dr. Sultan Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, who congratulated the graduates and highlighted their significant roles in the UAE’s future.

Sheikha Almansoori, the first student of determination with total visual impairment to graduate from the College of Education, shared her pride in joining the 2024 cohort and thanked the university’s leadership and professors for their support.

Rawda bint Tamim, representing the graduate students, expressed pride in the university’s heritage and the graduates’ readiness to contribute to the UAE’s vision and leadership on the global stage.

The event concluded with His Highness receiving a commemorative sculpture by Zayed University graduate Narjes Noor, inspired by the poetry of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Zayed University reaffirmed its commitment to fostering talent and innovation, aligning with the UAE Centennial 2071 goals, and congratulated the Class of 2024, wishing them success in their future endeavors as they carry forward the mission of the UAE.
