Dubai Police’s Hemaya Schools Celebrate Graduation of 204 Students

Dubai, UAE – Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, attended the graduation ceremony of the second batch of 204 students from Hemaya Schools for the academic year 2023-2024. The event, held at the Dubai Police Academy, saw attendance from assistant commanders-in-chief, directors of general departments, police station managers, and proud parents.

In his address, Al Marri congratulated the Dubai Police employees and their children on their graduation, wishing them success in their future endeavors. He emphasized that Hemaya Schools are a key initiative of the Dubai Police aimed at ensuring the happiness and well-being of its employees. Al Marri reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to supporting students at all educational levels, in line with the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership, which focuses on investing in people and fostering a positive and innovative work environment.

Al Marri highlighted the pride the leadership feels towards the achievements of Hemaya Schools students, noting that their educational gains benefit the children of police personnel and contribute to enhancing employee happiness and job satisfaction.

Supporting Employees

Dr. Brigadier Sultan Al Jamal, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academic and Training Affairs, stated that Hemaya Schools, established in 2018, aim to support military and civilian employees of Dubai Police by easing their burdens. He noted that Dubai Police leadership has invested significant resources in supporting Hemaya Schools, fostering integration across all sectors. This has resulted in the students acquiring valuable educational knowledge and skills, bolstered by partnerships with various educational entities.

Raising the Bar

Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Director of the Hemaya Schools Office, praised the efforts to improve the education system at Hemaya Schools, with continuous support and guidance from Lieutenant General Al Marri. He stated that since 2018, Hemaya Schools have successfully attracted a dedicated team of teachers, administrative, and supervisory staff, all committed to building a generation equipped with diverse educational and cognitive skills.

Al Suwaidi added that Hemaya Schools focus on involving students in significant events and activities organized by Dubai Police, alongside various initiatives and summer programs, enhancing their community and volunteer engagement.

Proud Graduates

Graduate Shaima Harb expressed her pride in graduating from Hemaya Schools, part of the prestigious Dubai Police institution that contributes to the UAE’s esteemed reputation. She highlighted the importance of education in shaping the nation’s future, as emphasized by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in his recent congratulations to the graduates. Harb extended her gratitude to Lieutenant General Al Marri for his exceptional support to Hemaya Schools’ students and faculty.

Honoring Partners

The ceremony concluded with Lieutenant General Al Marri honoring external partners, including the Emirates Red Crescent Authority – Dubai Center, Carplate Technical Services, Varasto Events, and Map Media Art Production. Internal partners such as the Esaad Card Centre, the People of Determination Empowerment Council, the Positive Spirit Council, the Athletes Council, and the Innovation Council were also recognized. Additionally, the administrative and educational staff of Hemaya Schools were honored for their contributions.
