“Colors of India” Art Exhibition

Dubai, UAE – The Dubai International Art Center, in collaboration with the Indian Consulate in Dubai and with the active support of the Dubai Department of Art and Culture, proudly hosted the “Colors of India” art exhibition to celebrate India’s Independence Day. The event took place with great fanfare, highlighting the vibrant cultural ties between India and the UAE.

The exhibition was officially inaugurated by Rayad Kamal Ayub, Founder of MRK Contemporary Art Gallery and Managing Director of the Rayad Group. Accompanying him at the event were Mrs. Meena Kamal, the owner of MRK Contemporary Art Gallery, and Khalil Abdul Wahid, Director of the Dubai Government Art and Culture Department. Also present were Bijendra Singh, Consul at the Indian Consulate General, and renowned artists Faisal Abdul Qadar Al Bastaki, Ahmed Rukni, and Saeed bin Khalil Abdulwahid, who were honored guests.

The exhibition, attended by eminent businessmen and celebrities, features over 30 artworks by various artists, each reflecting the rich tapestry of Indian culture and heritage. The “Colors of India” exhibition serves as a vivid reminder of the strong cultural bonds between the two nations and showcases the immense talent of the artists involved.

During the event, Rayad Kamal Ayub, the Chief Guest, presented certificates of merit to the participating artists, recognizing their exceptional contributions to the exhibition.

The “Colors of India” exhibition continues to draw art enthusiasts from across Dubai, celebrating the spirit of India’s Independence through the universal language of art.
