News DeskAbu Dhabi, UAE – Yas Island in Abu Dhabi recently played host to the grandest celebration of Indian Cinema, the International Indian Film Academy and Awards (IIFA) Rocks 2023. The event, co-presented by NEXA, brought together a dazzling array of splendor, luxury, and entertainment all under one roof.
The evening was filled with mesmerizing performances by some of the biggest names in the Indian music industry, including Amit Trivedi, Badshah, Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhbir Singh, Palak Muchhal, and Iulia Vantur. Farah Khan and Rajkummar Rao were the hosts, adding their own charm to the event.
The festivities began with a dance performance by Palak Muchhal, followed by a spirited performance by Farah Khan. Rajkummar Rao took the stage and recreated a memorable scene from “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.” Later in the evening, Sunidhi Chauhan and Badshah, along with Jacqueline Fernandez, Rakul Preet Singh, and Nora Fatehi, gave electrifying performances. Amit Trivedi enchanted the audience with his soulful voice, while Sukhbir Singh and Iulia Vantur had everyone dancing to the beats of the dhol. The evening concluded with an exhilarating performance by Nucleya.
The IIFA Rocks event also recognized the Technical Category winners in various fields, including cinematography, screenplay, dialogue, editing, choreography, sound design, sound mixing, background score, and special effects (visuals).
A special fashion collection by renowned designer Manish Malhotra, featuring Salman Khan and Nora Fatehi as showstoppers, added an extra layer of glamour to the evening.
