Dubai, UAE – Dubai Sports Council (DSC) continues to welcome registration submissions for the 12th edition of the Sheikha Hind Women’s Sports Tournament, the largest women’s sporting event in Dubai, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al-Maktoum, wife of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.

Aimed at encouraging women’s participation in sports and promoting a culture of fitness among female athletes, the Tournament has seen an overwhelming response. To accommodate the high volume of registrations, the Organizing Committee has extended the deadline to Friday, 11th October 2024, giving more time for governmental, semi-governmental, and private entities to submit their registration forms. Interested participants can complete the process through the Tournament’s official website: https://shwt.dubaisc.ae/

The Committee has established clear guidelines for participation. Female athletes are permitted to compete in up to five different competitions. Eligible participants include female employees, as well as the wives of employees, from government, semi-government, and private organizations based in Dubai. Furthermore, each player must have been employed at the organization they represent for at least six months prior to the Tournament. Registration for each event will close once the required number of participants is met.
