The violations encompassed reckless driving, endangering lives, causing road disturbances, unauthorized vehicle modifications, unclear number plates, and littering on public roads.

Colonel Muhammad Abdullah Khalfan Al Qaedi, Deputy Director of the General Department of Traffic, underscored the strict enforcement of Decree No. 30 of 2023, which could lead to fines of up to 50,000 Dirhams for releasing impounded vehicles. He issued a stern warning against reckless driving and speeding, emphasizing that those who endanger lives or damage roads would face substantial fines and vehicle impoundment for varying durations.

Colonel Al Qaedi disclosed that approximately 80% of the violators had been involved in severe accidents, resulting in fatalities and serious injuries.
