Ambassador Tirmizi Celebrates Pakistani Art Triumph at Abu Dhabi Exhibition

Abu Dhabi, UAE – In a notable visit to the 15th Edition of Abu Dhabi Art on Saadiyat Island, Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi explored the diverse world of contemporary art from November 22-26, 2023. The event, a global showcase of artistic talent, features the impressive works of artists from around the world.

Representing Pakistan at the exhibition, Canvas Art Gallery proudly exhibits the creations of Bushra Waqas Khan and Wardha Shabbir, drawing attention and admiration from attendees. Noteworthy Pakistani artists, including Naiza Khan, Waqas Khan, and Ali Gilani, are also contributing to the event, garnering praise from art enthusiasts.

The spotlight on Pakistani masters such as Ismail Gulgee, Sadequain, Zahoor ul Akhlaq, Chughtai, Rasheed Arain, and Imran Mir is particularly captivating, as Grosvenor Gallery showcases their timeless pieces at Art Abu Dhabi.

Expressing his appreciation for the showcased art, Ambassador Tirmizi emphasized that Pakistani art serves as a wellspring of inspiration globally. He noted that the recognition at such prestigious international events fills the nation with pride.

Joining in the acclaim, ambassadors from Mexico, Panama, and Zimbabwe also lauded the richness and diversity of both contemporary and classic Pakistani art. The event stands as a testament to the global impact and admiration for the artistic prowess emanating from Pakistan.
