Dubai, UAE – Big Bad Wolf Books, the renowned international book sale event, commenced its fifth edition in Dubai today, inviting residents to immerse themselves in the enchanting world of literature. The event, held at Sound Stages, Dubai Studio City, saw the esteemed presence of Andrew Yap, Co-founder of Big Bad Wolf Books, Mohamed Noor Hersi, Board Member of BBW Sharjah, Consul General Mohd Fadly Amri Aliaman – Consul General of Malaysia, and Consul General Dr Hussam Hussein – Consul General of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

With a commitment to fostering a culture of reading, the event aligns perfectly with the objectives of the National Plan for Reading in the UAE, aiming to cultivate a daily reading habit among residents by 2026.

Andrew Yap, expressing his enthusiasm for the event, emphasized the importance of making books accessible and affordable to all, especially the future generation. With over two million books spanning various genres and age groups, the sale promises something for every book enthusiast. Partnering with Little Socks, the event ensures a family-friendly environment, offering attractions such as a bouncy castle and craft area for children.

The event, open from March 1 to March 10, 2024, offers discounts of up to 75% on a wide selection of books, with free admission for all. Operating from 10 AM to 12 Midnight daily, it presents an opportunity for book lovers to explore and indulge in their passion for literature.

Andrew Yap also announced plans for future expansions, with Egypt being the next destination on the Big Bad Wolf Books’ journey, aiming to bring affordable books to an even wider audience.
