DUBAI, UAE – Crypto Fight Night (CFN) returned for its fourth edition in a major way in Dubai, delivering an electrifying night of professional and exhibition boxing bouts featuring crypto influencers, entrepreneurs and skilled fighters.

The event, held on April 19th at the prestigious La Perle Dragone Theatre, was endorsed by the World Boxing Council (WBC) and its president Mauricio Sulaiman. A packed auditorium witnessed regional champions like Jadier Herrera Motero, Tariq Habtoor, and 2023 WBC Middle East champion Khalid Nasir compete for esteemed WBC titles.

The highly anticipated battle for the WBC Crypto Champion title was the main event, pitting social media personalities Ansem against Louis ‘Barney’ Smith. Smith emerged victorious, taking the Crypto Champion title by TKO in the final round over Ansem.

Other winners on the night included UAE resident Khalid Nasir, who won the WBC Asia Silver super lightweight title by knockout, and UD Helmand Meran, who claimed the WBC Middle East super lightweight belt.

“The overwhelming response from the crypto community and boxing fans has fueled our passion for CFN,” said Rahul Suri, co-founder of CFN organizers Savy Promotions. “This year, we had over 1,400 visitors between fighters, sponsors and fans.”

Notable international sponsors included Ghaf Capital, BYBIT, Verse Estate and Hydro. Organizers say they expect to host two CFN events in the UAE this year as the unique crossover event continues gaining popularity.
