Al Habtoor Group Sets Stage for New TV Channel in Beirut, Launching Studio City, and Providing Over 300 New Jobs for the Lebanese

Dubai, UAE – Dubai-based Al Habtoor Group has announced major plans to launch a new television channel that will broadcast from Beirut, Lebanon. The channel is part of an ambitious expansion into the media sector for the conglomerate.

In a press conference, Al Habtoor Group Founding Chairman Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor highlighted the new channel’s goals of spreading positivity and hope through its programming. He expressed admiration for the resilience of the Lebanese people, which inspired the project.

“We aim to harness this energy to spread hope, happiness, and positivity through our new channel,” stated Al Habtoor. “Our commitment is not only to establish a channel but also to foster a thriving media environment for professionals.”

The new venture is expected to create around 300 job opportunities initially in fields like journalism, production, and arts. More employment opportunities are anticipated as the project grows. Al Habtoor stressed the group’s dedication to empowering the local workforce and contributing to Lebanon’s economic revival.

The channel has already received support from the Lebanese government, which has facilitated the licensing process. Its programming will focus on uplifting content spanning culture, social discussions, sports, entertainment, and health awareness aimed at inspiring youth in Lebanon and a global audience.

In a related development, Al Habtoor Group is also establishing a 100,000 square meter studio city in Lebanon to serve as a hub for film and TV production. This is expected to further boost the country’s attractiveness as a filming destination for international projects.

With its new TV channel and studio city initiatives, Al Habtoor Group is making a major investment in Lebanon’s media and entertainment sectors, generating employment and economic opportunities in the process.
