Dubai Police Unveils 8 Tourist Services at Arab Travel Market 2024

Dubai, UAE – Dubai Police is set to participate in the Arab Travel Market 2024 exhibition, starting tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The Force will showcase eight specialized services aimed at ensuring the safety and security of tourists and visitors to the emirate.

Acting Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations, Brigadier Harib Al Shamsi, emphasized Dubai Police’s annual commitment to this prestigious tourism exhibition, one of the world’s largest. He stated that the event provides a valuable platform to highlight Dubai Police’s services, facilitating easy access and enhancing the tourism experience.

Instilling a sense of security among tourists is crucial for developing the tourism sector, Brig. Al Shamsi stressed. As such, Dubai Police prioritizes raising awareness about its services and communication channels through smart and electronic platforms.

Meanwhile, Director of the Dubai Tourist Police Department, Brigadier Khalafan Al Jallaf, highlighted the range of tourism-specific services on offer, including the Tourist Police, Sail Safely, Virtual Dubai Police Museum, Esaad Card Center services, and electronic games. Vintage patrols, the Ramadan cannon, and new services will also be showcased during the exhibition.

Informative workshops in Arabic and English will be conducted at the Dubai Police platform, providing insights into the Lost and Found service and the Smart Police Station (SPS) services.

Brig. Al Jallaf reaffirmed Dubai Police’s dedication to developing its security system through public services catering to diverse backgrounds. He emphasized the Force’s commitment to anticipating future needs and offering innovative services aligning with global advancements in tourism security.

The Arab Travel Market 2024 exhibition promises to be a significant platform for Dubai Police to showcase its efforts in ensuring a safe and secure environment for tourists visiting the emirate.
