DP World ILT20 Season 3 Poised for Bigger and Better Return in 2025

Dubai, UAE – The DP World International League T20 (ILT20) is gearing up for an even bigger and better Season 3, slated to commence on January 11, 2025, and conclude on February 9, 2025. The 34-match tournament will be played across the venues of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

The announcement of the Season 3 window comes on the heels of a highly successful Season 2 in 2024, which saw MI Emirates lifting the coveted ILT20 trophy in front of a packed crowd at the Dubai International Stadium on February 17, 2024.

Season 2 witnessed a remarkable surge in broadcast viewership, with a total of 348 million unique viewers from around the world tuning in through Zee Network’s linear and online platforms, as well as their broadcast syndication partners in various territories.

Additionally, the tournament saw a substantial increase in crowd numbers across the three venues, with a cumulative growth of nearly 300 percent compared to Season 1.

DP World ILT20 CEO David White expressed delight in confirming the Season 3 window, stating that preparations are underway to make the league even bigger and better. He highlighted the massive success of Season 2 in terms of relevant metrics, further strengthening the league’s reputation as one of the most sought-after T20 leagues for players, fans, and broadcasters globally.

White also emphasized the league’s impact on the development of UAE players, many of whom excelled in the recent ACC Premier Cup in Oman, qualifying the UAE for the prestigious Asia Cup (2025, T20 format) for the first time in eight years.

Cricket fans in the UAE and those visiting Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah from around the world have plenty to look forward to in Season 3, with exciting announcements lined up regarding player retentions and new local and international talent signings by the six world-class franchises.
